This is what Kevin Swanson of Generations wrote about viewing homeschooling as discipleship:

"As Christian homeschoolers, our example is our Savior. What did Jesus do with His disciples? He was focused on the faith of His disciples. He was interested in their character, their life, and their obedience. And that's what we should be looking for in our children.

"At the end of the day, it’s not just about studying the "three R's" of education. While our children need to learn those things, God wants us to point them to Christ as the only remission for their sins and instill in them Godly character that will last a lifetime."
