Satan figured out long ago that he couldn't get rid of Jesus, so he just flipped strategies and trivialized Him, imitated Him, fantasized Him...so that everyone would think He is just someone like Hercules and not the true Living God.
The other thing Satan does is scoop worship away from the true God. He invented Santa Claus to usurp the Lord's worthiness to receive all of the world's worship, and gave Santa the very same three defining qualities of God.
Omniscience: all knowing..."gonna find out who is naughty and nice"...knows everything you ever did
Omnipotence: all powerful...can crawl down and up any sized chimney and fly through the air
Omnipresence: can travel and be everywhere at once over the whole earth in one night
And also dressed him in red, to divert our minds off from the true red blood of Christ's sacrifice for us.
Satan's purpose: that all the little children of the world would love Santa Claus and ignore Christ. The letters of the name, Santa, if rearranged, spell Satan.
